3.MODULE BACK OFFICE CONFIGURATION 1. On click of "Configure" link, Manage Data Map screen is displayed. Click "Add New Button". You can also go the Manage Data Map screen as follows, select Skroutz >>Manage Data Map.
2.Create a Skroutz Feed data
a.Feed Title – Enter the feed Title. Example "Electronics Feed"
b.Unique ID – Select the unique ID field of products. Every product should have a "Unique ID" be it Product Id or Reference Code or EAN13 /JAN or UPC
Skroutz will Not accept your data feed if products do not have the selected Unique Id. For example, if you select "Reference" as the Unique Id, make sure all your Products and all Combinations have unique Reference number
c.MPN – Select the Manufacturer part number from the drop down
d.Select SIZE Attributes in your Shop for SKROUTZ SIZE Attribute – Size attributes present in your shop are displayed. Select the size attributes that you want to associate with Skroutz size attribute. Multiple attribute values can be selected
e.Select COLOR Attributes in your Shop for SKROUTZ COLOR Attribute – Color attributes present in your shop are displayed. Select the color attributes that you want to associate with Skroutz color attribute. Multiple attribute values can be selected
f.Local Weight Unit - Select the local weight unit
g.Category - Select the Category of Products you want to export
h.Language – Select the language in which the data feed needs to be sent (Make sure all your products, categories and attributes have the selected translation)
i.Add description - Select if you want to add description or leave it blank
j.Manage Images (Remove selected Images from Data Feed)
Yes – Select Images can be removed from the data feed, Go to Back-office >> Skroutz >> Manage Images menu to remove the product from Data Feed

Your feed settings will be created on clicking the Save button
3. The data feedmap will be successfully created as below. You can also go the Data Feed Map as follows, select Skroutz >>Manage Data Map.
In order to generate the feed, click on the Generate button. On Successful generation of feed, below message will be displayed
The generated feed can be viewed or downloaded as xml using the view /download buttons from the manage data map screen (Skroutz >>Manage Data Map)
At any point of time, the feed rule can be edited by using the edit button
4. The feed data can also be verified in the View Feed Data screen (Skroutz >>View Feed Data). It gives a quick snapshot of what goes into the feed in a tabular form with a search option.
5. The default Skroutz settings can be changed in Skroutz Settings screen (Skroutz >>Settings)
a.Skroutz Security settings – Security settings determine who can view and use the data feeds.
i.Enable Log
Yes – Failure logs file will be stored in database which can be viewed using View Logs

ii.Enable IP protection
Yes - Generate/Download/View Feed can only be done from Whitelisted IPs

7.In order to remove selected products from the feed, goto Skroutz>>Manage Data Map. Click the "Remove Products" buttons on the top left.
Products can be unselected by using the bulk option or by using the "Toggle Include Status" individually

Question 9: How many times a day can a data feed be send to Skroutz/ Bestprice?
Solution: You would provide the data feed URL to Skroutz / Bestprice and they will crawl your website for the latest data feed. The interval should be agreed between you and Skroutz/Bestprice The url can be found in Skroutz>>Manage Data Map>>Links.
Question 10: Is there an option of a cron job?
Solution: Yes, Every data feed will have an URL which can be scheduled using a CRON JOB. You shall ask your hosting provider about how to schedule a CRON job. It varies based on the kind of server you use. The url can be found in Skroutz>>Manage Data Map>>Edit>>Links. Question 11: How is my site connected with Skroutz/Best price? Are access codes required?
Solution: 1.You need to arrive at an agreement with Skroutz / Bestprice 2.Send a feed to Skroutz/Best price for verification purpose. 3.Skroutz/Best price verify the sample data feed and approve the feed. 4.Upon approval, Skroutz/Bestprice will crawl the latest feed from your site with the help of URL provided. 5.The latest product information can be shared by scheduling a CRON job to create the latest data feed in your server. Question 12: What happens if a Product is Out-Of-Stock?
Solution: It is based on the Feed configuration. Skroutz>>Manage Data Map>>Edit>> Include Out of Stock Products.
Yes - Out of Stock Products will be included in the Data Feed. (Check if Stock Management is disabled in your shop)

Solution: Yes it can be done. 1.While creating the feed rules, chose All Categories for the Category field. 2.Exclude the products from Manage Products. Back office>>Skroutz>>Manage Products. 3.Generate the Feed
Question 14: How long does it take to create a data feed? Does the site slow down?
Solution: We follow the best available process to create a data feed. So the time taken will directly depend on the Server & Memory specifications of your server. Try to schedule the data feed during less traffic period which you can easily identify with the help of Google analytics Question 15: If particular product ID has different sizes and colors (attributes), are these considered different products.
Solution: Skroutz recommends 1 record per color for a product. Size attribute values will be grouped and separated by comma within that record. So if you have 5 colors with multiple sizes (L,XL, XXL). You would get 5 records in total. 1 record / color. Sizes grouped for every record. ex: (L,XL, XXL). Question 16: Will be there be a separate record for each combination
Solution: It is a configuration; you shall setup how you want. You may generate only 1 record / multiple records for a combination product. Back Office>>Skroutz>>Manage Data Map>>Edit>>Group combinations by color. Lists size attribute values separated by comma. (Recommended by Skroutz)

Solution: Weight is mandated by Skroutz. Kindly check with Skroutz team, if it is required for your products. Merchants are asking for this field recently. Question 19: Shipping cost is manipulated based on location/price/weight in my shop. How is this handled in the feed?
Solution: If shipping cost needs to be manipulated based on location/price/some criteria, Skroutz recommend not to send any value for this field. And it should be a single straight forward value. Question 20: What is WhiteListed IP
Solution: With NO whitelisting / NO IP validation, anyone who has your CRON job link / data feed link can trigger the data feed generation. Say, your developer has shared the data feed link to an incorrect email id. That person may misuse your data feed link. With IP validation, the IP addresses entered in "WhiteListing" will be allowed to execute the data feed generation feature. Enter the IP address of your system and IP addresses of Skroutz servers from where the your data feed will be downloaded Question 21: Why is the COD module name required?
Solution: COD module will be used, if you are planning to use the Skroutz analytics. If you have a Third Party COD module and if you want to remove the COD fee in the analytics data, this should be configured. Question 22: What happens if more than one image is selected as cover image?

The image links will be correct, but your shop/server could be configured to prevent direct access of image files.

Question 33: Unique ID is diferent from product id in skroutz feed. Solution:
As per Skroutz specification, every feed record should have UNIQUE ID.
Consider, a product with 3 color combinations.
We need to send 1 record for every color combination. So totally we would send 3 records in the feed.
We cannot send the same product id as unique id for all the three records.
Skroutz will reject the feed if we repeat the unique id.
Hence while preparing the record we create the unique id as "P<product id>C<combination id>".
